Remy Ma has weighed in on the Cardi B and Nicki Minaj fight that happened last Friday at the Harper’s Bazaar New York Fashion Week.
According to Remy Ma, people need to stop talking crazy, stop tweeting crazy, stop talking all this Instagram banging.”
Because if the situation between the Nicki Minaj and Cardi B eventually gets out of hand and things turn violent, the same people who are egging them on are the same folks who will call for peace and pull out the respectability politics.
Press play to watch Remy Ma interview about Nicki Minaj and Cardi B fight:
Remy Ma poured her heart out on REVOLT’s newest YouTube series, State of the Culture, which featured Joe Budden, herself, Scottie Beam and Jinx. The show dropped on Monday (September 10).
Joe started the discussion by reprimanding Cardi’s aggressive behavior, which was swiftly rebutted by Scottie and Remy. They reminded him that Cardi’s conduct has been championed by her supporters up until now.
The Terror Squad femcee was especially adamant about this position as a Bronx-native herself and someone who’s also stood on Barbie opposition during her broiling rap warfare with Nicki in 2017.
Remy pointed out a rational fact about Cardi that even her biggest rivals couldn’t argue with.
A woman who’s spent 25 years of her life as a regular-degular-shmegular girl from the BX trumps her one year as a rap star, Remy pointed out about her Bronx rap neophyte.
Thus, people should understand which Cardi they’re going to get should she be provoked. Remy added that the women present during Cardi’s alleged strip club brawl weren’t so innocent, either.
“Those girls that were there knew Cardi B was gonna be there. And they purposely came there, taunting her.”
“Let’s be clear—there really wasn’t a fight, especially considering that there was no actual physical contact.
After all, Remy said, Nicki was bordered off by her security during the fracas.

Orezi Denies Burning The Nigerian Currency
Orezi who faced severe backlash few days ago for allegedly burning the N1,000 note in a new photo, has denied burning the Nigerian currency.
Orezi who released the picture to promote his new music, Born Broke Die Rich, was slammed by social media users who felt it was disrespectful to Nigeria and the country’s legal tender. However Orezi who denied burning the Nigerian currency in a new interview with Saturday Beats, said it was an edited picture.
“I never burnt the N1,000 note like people thought, it was just graphics; an edited picture. I did not burn the Nigerian currency. If you look at the picture, you would see that the fire almost got to my eyes. If it were real, I would not have been able to withstand the heat. I cannot allow fire to burn my eyes because I want to take a picture. I replied some comments when people were criticising me because of the picture.
“I told them that it was an artistic paper and I did not burn the Nigerian currency. Why would I burn money to promote my music? A lot of my fans also tried to explain to those that were abusing me that it was an edited picture, but they would not listen. Some people went as far as saying that they would arrest me because it is against the law, but I did not burn the money. It is not everything that you can explain to people; sometimes you just have to keep quiet” he said.
